On February 2011, Innovis started its first entity in Africa, in Kenya and was given a deployment project with Nokia. By April 2013, Innovis became the most preferred vendor for Nokia in Kenya for all network deployment and NPO projects.
2016
Since 2016, Innovis is also the most preferred vendor for network deployment for Huawei Kenya.
February 2019
In February 2019, Innovis was selected by Nokia as the FLM and NOC partner for Airtel Managed Services contract. The scope for the contract includes Managed Services for Airtel existing network as well as passive infrastructure at core sites, apart from running a 24×7 NOC for alarm monitoring and fault management for RAN, transmission, CS and PS Core nodes. The network comprises 2G, 3G and LTE RAN equipment from Nokia, transmission equipment from multiple vendors including Nokia, ALU, Ericsson, Huawei and Ceragon, while core is provided by ZTE.
August 2019
In August 2019, Innovis further secured the contract to manage the transition and operations of Telkom Kenya ?s network which later merged with Airtel Kenya.
