Responsibilities

Install new / rebuild existing database systems in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.

  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
  • Internal processes automation to go fully paperless using different applications or development approach.
  • Perform SharePoint administration & support to end users
  • Develop and drive Business process Automation initiatives.
  • Contribute to and maintain system standards.
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for database administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware resources, databases, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
  • Perform daily health checks, ensuring all databases are running optimally and with no errors
  • Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary
  • Ensure DB systems are redundant and can be recovered.
  • Ensure online and offline data retention is observed
  • Provide support per request from various customers. Investigate and troubleshoot issues.
  • Repair and recover database failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
  • Apply patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
  • Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
  • Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, DB upgrades, tuning and optimization as required
  • Ensure audit findings & vulnerabilities are fixed on time
  • Serve as the contact person for OEM
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer science/Engineering or Information System.

  • Certification in database administration, Software development, IT AutomationEnsure audit findings & vulnerabilities are fixed on time.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Database/Software development experience
